Day 02

Shillong – Excursion to Mawlynnong & Dawki (120 kms / 4 hrs.) “Breakfast”

Day Summary	After early breakfast drive to Mawlynnong – “Asia’s Cleanest Village”. Mawlynnong offers many interesting sights such as the Living root bridge and another strange natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another small rock. Next we proceed to Dawki, a small town near India Bangladesh border to Enjoy breathtaking view of the Umangot River – the cleanest river. Evening drive back to Shillong & relax at your hotel. Overnight at Hotel in Shillong.

Shillong – Cherrapunjee sightseeing – Shillong “Breakfast”

Day Summary	Today we move on for an excursion tour to Cherrapunjee ‘The Wettest Place on Earth’, Here we visit Limestone Cave as well as famous waterfalls like Nohsngithiang Falls, Dainthlen Falls, Nohkailikai Falls (world’s fourth highest) and on your way back visit Elephant Falls & Shillong Peak Evening free to relax or to explore Police Bazaar. Overnight at Hotel in Shillong
